Libel and Defamation Litigation

Libel and Slander are forms of Defamation, defined as publicly making false, or misleading, statements about some other person. Libel is a written statement, of false and malicious content, about someone else.  Such a statement may be made in writing, or through pictures or other types of printed material.  Slander is a spoken (oral) statement, of false and malicious character, about someone else.

Our team possesses the knowledge and experience to deal with initiating or defending Clients in  Court procedures and actions concerning Libel, Slander, and Defamation cases. We can represent our Clients before the District Courts, as well as before the Supreme Court of the Republic of Cyprus, as the case may so require.  We take all necessary legal actions to immediately remove the offending content, obtain injunctive relief, and apologetic response/correction while seeking compensation/damages.
